PROJECT EXPERIENCE

FrontRunner South CM/GC

Herzog was a key joint venture partner for the CM/GC FrontRunner South project. We were instrumental in value engineering, pre-construction services, and constructability reviews. We were responsible for building 46 miles of new commuter rail track from Provo to Salt Lake City, Utah. The Front Runner South project included 16 major canal/irrigation structures involving extensive earthwork and drainage systems. We built a combined 27 single and double-span rail bridges and a 4,000 linear feet flyover rail bridge. This flyover passed over a Union Pacific freight yard and consisted of two MSE walls on both sides of the Union Pacific yard with approximately 1,000 linear feet of steel girder for the flyover bridge.
