Overview

Herzog performed construction for the 12.3-mile Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) Green Line CM/GC 1 project (Line Sections SE-1, SE-2, NW-1B and the Bryan Hawkins Connector) built alongside an existing railroad through residential, light industrial, and urban areas including the heart of downtown Dallas. Scope included installation of trackwork, systems components, communications, signals, and the construction of multiple bridge structures and retaining walls. The project involved the construction of six park and ride stations, four walk-up/kiss-and-ride stations, the Baylor Medical Center Station, and Fair Park station (home of the Texas State Fair).
