Overview

In a construction joint venture, Herzog completed the build of the NW-2, NW-3, and NW-4 lines to extend the Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) Green Line LRT System northwest from downtown Dallas, crossing through three different cities. Construction of these line segments included 13.5 miles of track, 8.7 miles of the bridge deck, five at-grade stations, three elevated passenger stations aerial stations and five parking lots. Most of the line is double track and built alongside an active freight railroad. The project involved construction and relocation of a portion of the existing freight corridor (and its signal systems) to accommodate the LRT line.
