Overview

In a design-build JV partnership, Herzog constructed an 18-mile commuter rail extension of passenger service from Albuquerque to Santa Fe, NM. Construction work included six railroad bridges, five cut and cover concrete boxes for rail, one highway bridge, six load transfer structures over existing major utilities, railroad signals, and two passenger stations. Herzog also provides operations and maintenance services for the rail entire Rail Runner system.
