Gerry Di Ioli
Herzog Contracting Corp. – Senior Vice President of Track/Infrastructure Maintenance
Gerry Di Ioli provides executive oversight of Herzog’s maintenance-of-way services, capital rehabilitation planning, and associated work under our transit and track infrastructure maintenance contracts throughout the United States. Gerry is also responsible for system safety program planning, financial analysis and planning, and operating rules and regulations.
Gerry and his team manage all MOW equipment, scheduling, coordination, cost control, contract compliance and negotiations, estimating, training, and all other related railroad construction and maintenance duties.
Prior to working for Herzog, Gerry held a myriad of positions for the railroad including machine operator, foreman, conductor, carman, signalman, locomotive engineer, and roadmaster. Gerry joined Herzog in 1993 as a surfacing gang superintendent and now leads our MOW division.
Gerry is a current member of the American Railway Engineering and Maintenance-of-Way Association (AREMA). He is a former member of the AGC of California, serving on the board as both president and director.
