Warren Hallam

Herzog Contracting Corp. – Senior Vice President of Field Operations

Warren Hallam brings over 43 years of experience managing heavy civil self-perform and subcontractor work for mega infrastructure programs. He has directed scopes of work for rail transit, bridge structure, and highway projects across North America. Currently, Warren serves as the Senior Vice President of Field Operations, where he assumes oversight responsibility for the management of projects of various sizes and provides technical support for strategic project pursuit efforts.

Warren has orchestrated logistically complex bridge construction for projects with major constraints in rail corridors (LOSSAN rail corridor in southern California), over open bodies of water (Abegweit Passage of the Northumberland Strait in Canada), and through mountains (Koolau Mountains in Hawaii). He is deeply familiar with bridge construction techniques, including the cast-in-place/precast balanced cantilevered method for cable stay structures, and with bridge designs ranging from post-tensioned segmental to conventional build structures. He possesses a broad understanding of construction means and methods for passenger stations, utilities, large diameter cast-in-drilled-holes (CIDH), retaining walls, slurry walls, deep soil mixings. mass earthwork, etc. Warren is an effective member of preconstruction teams, providing valuable constructability, risk mitigation, scheduling, and work plan means and methods insight. He has been involved in nearly $4B of collaborative delivery work.

Warren’s credentials include holding a Carpenter apprenticeship Journeyman certification since 1982, awarded by the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Apprentice Local 185 in St. Louis, MO.
