Herzog & Stacy Witbeck: Building America’s First High-Speed Rail

Herzog and Stacy Witbeck lead the charge in constructing America’s first high-speed rail system, connecting Las Vegas to Southern California at speeds of up to 200 MPH.

Brightline West held a groundbreaking ceremony with state and federal government officials on Monday, April 22 at the site of its future Las Vegas station officially marking the beginning of this historic high-speed rail project. This 218-mile-long all-electric rail line will connect Las Vegas and Los Angeles by train with travel times of just over two hours. Trains will reach speeds up to 200 MPH making it the first true high-speed rail line in the United States. Herzog is honored to be the project’s track and systems contractor alongside joint venture partner Stacy Witbeck for such a transformational rail project.
