Missouri Family Day at the Kansas Speedway

On October 28th, area Herzog employees gathered for a special Family Day event at the Kansas Speedway in Kansas City, KS. Despite the inclement weather, the festivities seamlessly transitioned indoors, ensuring a memorable experience for all.

The event primarily took place in an area typically reserved for NASCAR driver interviews but instead featured eight race-simulated video games and was adorned with framed pictures capturing the essence of Herzog Motorsports. Big screens showcased college football, while tables included coloring books and crayons for the younger attendees.

The culinary offerings mirrored the excitement of a NASCAR event, with everyone savoring burgers, hot dogs, and other delectable finger foods. The country tunes of Big Time Grain Co. added to the lively atmosphere as attendees indulged in the feast. Eagerly clutching their raffle tickets, many participants also hoped for the chance to secure some new Herzog swag.

Everyone enjoyed the entertainment including cornhole games, Jenga, Tic Tac Toe, and Big Wheel races to delight the children. A NASCAR stock car stood on display, capturing the attention of all, alongside an AUDI owned by Herzog’s Brent Woodburn. Outside, two food trucks offered a diverse array of treats, from hot chocolate and lattes to cotton candy and various flavors of popcorn.
