Ben Christian

President – Herzog Energy, Inc.

Ben Christian joined Herzog in 2021. During his first two years, Ben was responsible for driving Herzog’s strategic initiatives around sustainability, leadership development, and culture advancement. In 2023, Ben was named President of Herzog Energy, Inc. where he now provides executive leadership for solutions that capitalize on the company’s strengths in heavy civil construction, utility infrastructure, and installation of mechanical and structural systems. Ben drives Herzog’s energy strategy and the teams that drive project development for the construction, installation, and commissioning of solar photovoltaic systems, battery storage, and substation and transmission improvements. He works to leverage strategic business partnerships to enhance and grow Herzog’s long-term strategic position in the energy sector.

Prior to joining Herzog, Ben served as director of partnership marketing and business strategy for the Kansas City Royals and oversaw a partnership that resulted in the construction of the largest in-stadium solar array in Major-League Baseball (MLB). Ben led the development of strategic business tools to optimize reporting, performance tracking, and business analysis for the MLB club. Ben also served as coordinator of marketing partnerships for the San Diego Chargers and worked as a field director, fundraiser, and consultant for a variety of political campaigns and issue advocacy groups.
