Overview
Herzog was awarded an initial startup contract that commenced on December 2009 and ran through March 2010. Based on a successful startup and implementation performance, Herzog was then granted an extension for operations and maintenance scope-of-work. The CapMetro commuter service started operations in March 2010, 78 days after Notice to Proceed, with Herzog responsible for the transition between contractors and systems startup. Herzog currently manages train operations and dispatching, in addition to maintenance of equipment, signals, communications systems, right-of-way, and facilities.
