Overview
To assist Tacoma Rail in meeting PTC requirements, Herzog implemented its PTC Hosting solution. This Herzog solution allows railroads to simplify and accelerate their PTC implementation efforts by utilizing both Herzog’s PTC expertise and robust suite of technology services. With this strategic approach, the Tacoma Rail PTC deployment timeline is greatly reduced. Scope includes the provision of professional services in support of Tacoma Rail Configuration Management and PTC testing efforts. Herzog’s hosting solution offers a Class 4 data center environment, highly available and scalable PTC architecture, and a 24/7/365 technology support center. With Herzog’s support, Tacoma Rail implemented PTC in advance of the FRA-mandated deadline.
