Overview

This construction management at risk (CMAR) project features a 10.35-mile Bus Rapid Transit line through San Antonio. The north end of the project will start near the San Antonio International Airport and extend through the city to the south end of the project near Steves Avenue. The project includes eight miles of dedicated transit lanes and 26 stations with off-board fare collection, public announcement systems, next bus messaging, bike parking, and security cameras and lighting. Existing roadways will be modified with utility relocations, new bus pads, curb and gutter, milling, asphalt resurfacing, roadway striping, and signage to accommodate the new bus lanes and stations. It also includes the implementation of transit signal priority at intersections.
