Overview
To assist Trinity Metro (formerly known as the Fort Worth Transportation Authority) in meeting PTC requirements for TEXRail, Herzog implemented its PTC Hosting solution. This Herzog solution allows railroads to simplify and accelerate their PTC implementation efforts by utilizing both Herzog’s PTC expertise and robust suite of technology services. With this strategic approach, the TEXRail PTC deployment timeline is greatly reduced. Scope includes the provision of professional services in support of TEXRail Configuration Management and PTC testing efforts. Herzog’s hosting solution offers a Class 4 data center environment, highly available and scalable PTC architecture, and a 24/7/365 technology support center. With Herzog’s support, Trinity Metro implemented PTC in advance of the FRA-mandated deadline.
